Absolutely terrible

Absolutely terrible. We should have known it would be awful when they confiscated our butties on the way in. It just got worse from there. Massive queues and very little in the way of COVID mitigation. We had expected reduced capacity, but if anything people were packed in like sardines. Everyone was rude. Everyone was fed up. I feel like a worse person for having been. Don’t go. Please.

Avoid BPB - not Covid secure

Been coming to BPB for years and this is by far the worst visit! States on the website that they have capped visitor number and that they are covid secure, absolute lies!! Have never seen it so busy in over 30 years! No social distancing, one way systems non existant, number of hand sanitizers not working, lack of staff ensuring that guidelines are being followed. Never have I seen such bad organisation. Not once did I see a ride being cleaned and with the hand sanitizers not working this is surely dangerous given the times we live in! Absolute breeding ground for Covid! I can't comprehend how they would allow thousands of people in a queue each hour touching fences and gates walking through for there to be no working hand sanitizer!
I would suggest everyone avoid the pleasure beach at present given the lack of organisation and safety. It is clearly a policy of money ahead of safety at the moment.

I’d give a zero if I could

I’d give a zero if I could.
Queues 1hour plus for all rides.
Zero social distancing in place.
Queues 40plus mins for any food or drink.
No way have they limited capacity

Me and my partner went to the pleasure…

Me and my partner went to the pleasure beach on Friday the 7th of May 21 and wanted to write a review because we had the most amazing day and it was massively down to how amazing we were treated by all the staff of the pleasure beach! Every single was so happy and cheerful and it really made the day just so nice, they were super nice and so friendly we can’t wait to go back and probably should take the kids this time.... honestly can’t recommend enough, the best day all down to amazing rides but even more amazing staff! Thank you the McAndrews xx

Rude staff

I am disgusted how my family was spoken to by David who operates the Flying Machines. He’s a terribly rude and obnoxious man. My boys who are both autistic had to deal with his bad attitude. Due to their condition they don’t have to wear a face mask. He challenged my children in such a manner. I wouldn’t expect a grown man to behave like that. I complained to Guest Services but he didn’t seem to care. We will never return to BPB. It wasn’t very busy now I can see why. You need to practice what you preach on your signs..Be kind!!! I will be complaining to the CEO, Amanda Thompson.

Too many people let into the park…

Too many people let into the park despite promises of limited ticket sales.
People in the queues were not following the guidance of keeping distanced.
Long waits to get on each ride (1 hour plus).
Not safe to go at this time. Covid response inadequate.

Disappointed to say the least

We go to the pleasure beach every year because we love the rides it’s our main reason for going to Blackpool. There was six of us in the family group booked for august 21st but we were greatly disappointed as the big one, the Valhalla , the PlayStation ping and the grand national was not open. I wouldn’t have gone if it was advertised saying that and I feel like I’ve been let down badly. We usually come up twice to Blackpool the 2nd time in October but no sure now if we will come.

Good rides but the staff are absolutely…

Good rides but the staff are absolutely rude and stuck up!! Tend to be quiet racist I’ve noticed how they treated guest who are of a darker complexion very different to the ones that are ‘white’ can’t get a slush and a doughnut without being spoken to like absolute crap! Get better staff they’re not very welcoming ruined my whole day if I’m honest

Wouldn’t return in a hurry

Visited 22/07/20. Arrived for 10am opening, getting into park was smooth and easy.
Once inside the park there was no social distancing at all. People ignoring the one-way walking systems
Queuing for the bigger rides people were crammed into the queues and ignoring the distancing markers on the ground. Need staff to mann the queues
Groups of people walking around drinking pints of beer.
Too many people in for the current situation
Hand sanitizer available at every ride.
Wouldn’t go back in a hurry.
